Baden-Baden, Germany | 29–30 May 2026
EUFAMI and BApK (Bundesverband der Angehörigen psychisch erkrankter Menschen) came together for a successful Joint Forum and EUFAMI General Meeting in Baden-Baden, Germany. The event brought together family carers, mental health professionals, policymakers, and people with lived experience from across Europe.
Highlights included powerful keynote interviews, moving lived-experience testimonies, and thought-provoking discussions on family involvement, confidentiality, and innovative care models such as Open Dialogue. Special attention was given to young carers and the vital role of families in psychiatric care.
During the General Meeting, we welcomed four new member organisations and appointed two new Board directors, further strengthening EUFAMI’s growing European network.
We extend our gratitude to all participants, speakers, and hosts for making this gathering a meaningful and productive experience.
