The 2nd International Congress RECOVERY Portugal 2023 will take place in the city of Barcelos, Portugal between 30th November and 2nd December 2023.
The theme of this year's Congress is "Think Global, Act Local - Governance and Financing of Mental Health".
EUFAMI will be represented by EUFAMI President Urs Würsch, EUFAMI Executive Director John Saunders and EUFAMI Treasurer and also President of the Swedish Schizophrenia Association, Åsa Konradsson-Geuken.
Urs Würsch and John Saunders will be giving a Masterclass on the European Vision for the 21st Century in Mental Health, while Dr. Åsa Konradsson-Geuken will make an intervention on Recovery and Mental Health Rehabilitation.
EUFAMI Member Organisation in Portugal ‘Familiarmente’, also participates in this work, and President Joaquina Castelão will be presenting on the role and importance of families in mental health.
The Scientific and Organising Committee is chaired by Miguel Durães, President of RECOVERY IPSS and also EUFAMI Board Director.
