EUFAMI Secretary General calls for action (updated June 14, 2008)
At the European Parliament Special Interest Group on Carers meeting, held in Brussels on the 12th June, Kevin Jones, said that action rather than words was now needed and called on the EU and national governments to fully implement the Helsinki Declaration as well as the contents of any pact which might be signed up to at the Conference on Mental Health which was due to take place on the following day in Brussels.
